eLumigen LLC, a leading manufacturer of LED lighting for rough service and harsh environment applications, has appointed Alfred LaSpina as CEO and President, effective March 1, 2020. LaSpina, who was previously the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company, replaces Gerry Fedele who has retired but retains a position on the eLumigen Board of Directors.

LaSpina’s new CEO-and-President role comes at a pivotal growth trajectory for eLumigen, as the company increases its commitment to the automotive, commercial and industrial lighting segments with new and expanded customer programs, operations and products.

According to LaSpina, “Gerry Fedele positioned eLumigen for significant growth. The company recently won a Sapphire Award and was named EC&M Product of the Year for its distinctive line of Rough Service LED lamps.” LaSpina states, “eLumigen is now poised to build on its core, highly-regarded expertise and is set to deliver measurable returns for its customers.”

LaSpina has more than 28 years of experience in the lighting, B2B and home environment industries at leading consumer brands. Before joining eLumigen, LaSpina was the Director of Marketing at Ledvance Sylvania for the company’s LED lamps division. Prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility at both OSRAM Sylvania and Honeywell.

LaSpina has a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University in International Policy Analysis and Management and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Tufts University.
